Greyhawk Homeowners
It is time to have another Greyhawk homeowners meeting. At this meeting we will primarily be
discussing the monthly dues for the HOA. Utah has passed a new statute, Section 57-8a-402(3) and
405(5) which deals with homeowner association and the insurance coverage we must have. With this
new statute we have changed our insurance policy which has caused an increase in premiums. Utah has
also passed new laws in regards to the amount an association must have in their reserve account. The
Greyhawk HOA right now is not in compliance with this new law, and we must make changes to satisfy
the state.
Looking at the budget and where we have to be in a few months we must raise the current HOA dues to
$90.00 a month. This amount will help the HOA with their reserve account, bring all past due accounts
to current and help us be prepared for any costs that may arise in the future.
Our next HOA meeting is scheduled for September 29th, 7:00 p.m. at the Coldwell banker office (6033
Fashion Point Drive). Please come and attend this meeting. We will give detailed breakdowns of the
budget and where the HOA stands currently.
